Course overview
Join us in the magnificent frame of the Northern Italian hills for a new advanced-level workshop designed by Thomas Rosenkilde Rasmussen, certified Upledger therapist and teacher, scientist and director of research for the Upledger Institute International.
Thomas will guide us in the exploration of rhythms and consciousness in a therapeutic setting. Further, he will help us in experiencing the inner bridges connecting the whole being.
The structure of each day includes a first section with meditations, exercises and theory, followed by multi-hand treatments in the afternoon.
Course content
This advanced class was designed to teach a deeper understanding of the self-development and self-healing process in the process-oriented Craniosacral Therapy treatment.
Adding knowledge and awareness on the bridges within the Craniosacral System that build the connections between the physical body and the consciousness, the goal is to experience a unified conscious body/mind/spirit, central in the self-healing process in Craniosacral Therapy.
This course offers an in-depth exploration of
- the alternation between movement and stillness in Craniosacral Therapy
- the spectrum of rhythms available for communication with the Inner Wisdom, as no rhythm can function in isolation
- the connection between movements (a rhythm) and states of consciousness
- how connections within the craniosacral system allow for the experience of the somatic self and the relationship between the physical (soma) and the consciousness life (non-material/spirit) principle of human vitality
Conditions of participation
In order to join the course, we request an ongoing practice of craniosacral therapy and the attendance of the two following classes: Somatoemotional Release 1 (SER 1) and The Brain Speaks 1 (TBS 1). No previous meditation experience is required!
Accommodation and food
We have booked the entire Miri Piri center for our workshop!
Miri Piri offers a certain number of rooms directly in the structure or in neighboring B&Bs. Single, double, triple and quadruple rooms are available. All rooms have their own bathroom.
Single and double rooms are, however, limited and they will be assigned to whomever reserves them first. For the single room solution, an extra fee of € 30/day is requested. Meals and breaks are included in the price.
Travel
Every participant is responsible for her/his travel arrangements. We ask you to be there on September 5th around 6pm. The class will end on September 10th around 4pm.
For those coming from far, you will need to reserve a flight to Milan Linate (LIN) (this is the nearest airport) or Bergamo or Milan Malpensa and then take a train to Piacenza.
The center has an agreement with Mr. Santino, which you can book a taxi at +39 328 91 62 540. The cost of transportation from Piacenza station to Miri Piri is € 40 for one person and € 50 for two or more people (maximum 4).
If you’d rather catch a taxi from the airport, contracted taxis will ask you more or less € 180 from Milan Linate, € 210 from Bergamo Orio al Serio, € 280 from Milan Malpensa,
You can reach Miri Piri by car in 1 hour from Milan. The address is Località Sborzani, frazione di Pigazzano, Comune di Travo (Piacenza). Free parking is available at the center.
Fee
The retreat fee is € 950, accommodation € 500, for single accommodation + € 150. The retreat fee will be invoiced by us, accommodation has to be paid on site.

Registration
To register please use exclusively via email indicating
- your full name and address
- birthdate and nationality
- if not in Switzerland, where you have taken the two required classes (SER 1 and TBS 1), attaching the corresponding certificates of attendance
- the kind of accommodation you desire
Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an invoice for the course deposit of € 600 which you must pay within 10 days to reserve your space in the class. In case of cancellation the deposit is only refundable until July 15th, 2024. It is recommended to have a travel insurance!
